Threa Almontaser is a Yemeni-American writer, translator, and multimedia artist from New York City. She holds an MFA from North Carolina State University. She has been a Tin House Summer Scholar and a writer-in-residence at the Kerouac House, among other fellowships. Nominated or included in the Pushcart Prize, Best New Poets, and Best of the Net, her work is published in or forthcoming from Penguin Random House, The Offing, Adroit Journal, Passages North.
